I was refused for the British Visit Visa to visit a family. I want to reapply but need advice. It means alot?

I was refused a british with reasons for using scanned copies of documents with which i had no knowledge. I need advice on what to do and what to say when re-applying and when would be adviceable.

Before i when i applied i had never travelled out of my country but Now i am studying in china. What do you guys think?

You advice means alot to me now.I was refused for the British Visit Visa to visit a family. I want to reapply but need advice. It means alot?
They'll need to see original certified documents.I was refused for the British Visit Visa to visit a family. I want to reapply but need advice. It means alot?
If you are unmarried and from Asia or other Continent for get about visa.Next time when you apply take original papers with you, that you can see in British Embassy sight in your country.
What is your nationality?

Did they give any other reasons for denying the visa other than scanned copies? Can you think of another reason?

It might be that they thought you would come to the UK and then just stay. It might be that now that you are involved in an ongoing course of study (if your studies in China are ongoing) that they would consider that to be in your favor.

I guess I would reapply, using all original documents (not photocopies) and explain carefully the reasons for the visit (listing the family members might help) and also somehow explain that you are involved in ongoing studies that you plan to continue.

I have no idea about how long it might be good to wait. If your circumstances have changed, then that might be enough.

Good luck!
What country are you from? Who applied with scanned documents? Why weren't you aware of this? Tell us more and we can help.
My Advice to you is not to bother with visa. UK is now full up to top, and there is no room for anyone to move. Plus UK people are not nice, they cut off heads of non uk people and suck brains out of noses.

All uk people are racist too, and don't want johny foreigner living next door
Whichever country you come from, what you need to produce is complete original documents when applying for a travel visa to Britain. Furthermore, your potfolio will be strictly scrutinized, your reason of travel, if you have any parents or siblings whom are residents of Britain, your bank account and if you have a job. Chances are, if you are a student, it will be very difficult to travel into Britain unless you travel on tour package with a tour agent.
Enqure about something called the visa waiver program, it allows you to stay in the country for 90 days without the need of a visa.

If you wish to obtain a visa then i would reccomend you contact the embassy in london asking which documents are required and have each and every one and then have everything in order what you need before you make an appointment.

Arrange an appointment with the embassy and make sure you call 1 week in advance to make sure there are no changes to the documentation needed and also the day before to make sure your appointment time and location are correct.

Upon entering the embassy you will be asked if you have applied once before and all you need to do is inform them that you have but you did not have the correct information at the time and was adviced to make a new appointment when you had the correct documentation.

When you have your interview the one thing you can not do is be nervous, i know it can be because i went for an interview with the us embassy for a visa to go there and i did not have the right documentation also and this is what they informed me of. When asked questions dont take too long to think and dont answer too fast, explain that you wish to obtain a visitors visa in order to visit family in the united kingdom and have documentation showing that you are going to leave the country and return to your home because this is the part that i did not have on me at the time which meant i was declined the visa.

I wish you all the best with your visa and hope you get it soon and be with your family.
Depends where you're from.If you're not from the EU the government are now asking relatives or friends to pay the government 拢1000 for a visa. They're fed up of people coming here on a tourist visa and staying. They've also lowered the tourist visa to 3 months instead of 6.

Really depends where you are from!
Simply apply with proper copy-documents %26amp; with Original passport... (do not give any scanned doc) ...

Also make sure to get Right Photo snap at selected shops in town designated by British consulate authority.

Passport, photo, right documents, fees .. will get you Visit visa.
