Make sure you have a parent handbook and contracts with anyone you provide care for.
You don't want there to be any confusion as to what you expect to get paid and what your policies are. Especially because you want to do child care for your family and friends, you should have everything in writing. You don't want to lose a close friend or get in an argument with a family member over a misunderstanding.
There are a lot of great resources for starting/running a home daycare as well as activity ideas on http://www.childcarecentral.comI am looking to start an in-home, liscensed daycare for family and close friends. Any advice?
Good luck!!! You must be great with kids and have a schedule that allows for it. Also you will have to be in touch with the state people to be licensed. Good luck!!!I am looking to start an in-home, liscensed daycare for family and close friends. Any advice?
