u asked so many questions in one go. any how i will try to answer most of ur questions.

Reduction of weight :

1) Cook your food withour any food oil try to use boiled/steamed vegitables, meat, and lot of salad.

2) Dont eat any type of junk food.

3) Drink atleast 3 ltr of water daily. make ur habit to drink water as much as u can

4) use brown bread

5) use skimmed and low fat milk and yougart

6) no sugar of any type.

i dont know whats the status of weight and height. so cant say how many months it will take you come on normal wight line.

when u fell that u have achived your desired weight then make ur eating life style as told above but occasionaly u can take other junk food too.

the best indoor excersize machine is tread mill. run on tread mill for atleast 30 mntns daily. and try to extend ur period for one hour.

hope u got the right answer. if u have any query send me an email try yahoo.Healthy eating advice for family?
Dont supply soo much snack foods like for lunches give them an apple and a nice salad sandwich ..

add variety like use low fat things

stop adding butter and salt to everything

go for a family walk once a week or so and go do stuff

make fruit salads which are yummy! =]

my mum makes them with red+green apples, watermelon, rockmelon, passionfruit, oranges, pinapple and just add anything you like and add a little bit of orange juice to it even though it gives off its own juices.. pop them in separate little containers ready to eat now or later or to take to school or work!

(im 15)

umm change all softdrinks you buy into good fruit juices or just water, when they are hungry tell them to grab a peice of fruit or a drink untill lunch/dinner lol

see if you can make them more active like put them into a sport like soccer where they do physical activity twice a week where they practice and then go play the game on the weekend! =]

if it gets cold, take up snowboarding or skiiing! then your having fun while doing physicall activity and being outside

i dont have any other hints but yeah hope i help!

GOOD LUCK! xxx
If it gets so cold there, why not enjoy snow sports?shovel the drive and walk, that is considered exercise, any indoor skating rinks in your town?check out Rachel Rays' cooking shows, 30 minute meals, she makes some really tasty meals that are low calorie and quick, check Barnes %26amp; Nobles for a cookbook written by her
Do pushups and situps eat lots of vegtables eat baked foods
skipping is a good exercise. Mostly, you and your family need to walk a lot. walking, either in summer or winter, brings freshness to the entire body. Of course, jogging, cycling, playing indoor games etc should ease your troubles...
See site below for the best diet for losing weight. It is also very healthy. It emphasizes eating sweets that take 2 minutes to prepare and ';cook.'; It tells about rebounding.

Buy a rebounder (mini-trampoline). Have your kids jump on it everyday for at least 10 minutes at a time. They can do this more than once a day instead of jumping on beds. Only one person on it at a time to avoid injury and breaking it. It will help you lose weight also since it exercises every cell in your body. There are even certified reboundologists. It is part of Kevin Trudeau weight loss protocol to cure being overweight.
I think your more in the majority than the minority with your situation. I know that Children are hard to please when it comes to healthy choices NOT like us adults..lol

with that said, I know that author Dr.joyce bauer has great diet books loaded with healthy eatting tips and menus for real people.. in other words the kids will actually eat it.

I assume you know most of the basics on dieting and weight loss, so i wont give ya the obvious. As far as exercise goes and weather restrictions as you mentioned.

I cant recommend enough the local YMCA its affordable and can be paid month by month opposed to joining gyms that require annual contracts.

monthly family passes avg. approx $ 60-75 and may be paid by your health insurance,in some cases.

The YMCA offers family activities and Individual training programs which sounds like where you are at

I can tell you this Drink lots of spring water during your weight loss journey it helps .... Good luck to you and your gang !
